Paridity Privacy Policy
Website privacy notice for paridity.com | Version 1.0 | Effective date: November 5, 2026
1. Who we are
Evil Genius MindWorks LLC ("Company", "we", "us" or "our"), a limited liability company in the United States, operates paridity.com, the website of the Paridity product, and is the controller of the personal information this notice describes.
This notice covers the website and its forms. The Paridity software runs inside the customer's own cloud account and is governed by the customer's agreement with us (the Master Subscription Agreement or the Evaluation Agreement); the software sends us no customer data, credentials, object names or evidence values. The one outbound call the software makes, to the licence service, is described in the product documentation and carries the licence key, a machine identifier derived from the installation, the product name and the platform.
2. Information the website collects
2.1 Information you provide
| Data | When collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Name, company, role | A contact message, a trial request or an Early Adopter application | To answer you and, for a trial, to provision it |
| Work email address, phone number | The same forms | To answer you; a trial is provisioned for company addresses only |
| What you write about your systems, replication tools and estate | The same forms | To answer you and to prepare an installation or a proof of value |
We ask for nothing else. There is no account to create and no newsletter. If you send us a message by email or call us, we keep that correspondence for the same purposes.
2.2 Information collected automatically
The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking script. Our hosting and network providers keep standard server logs (the requesting address, the page requested, the time, the browser's identification) for operating the service and for security, for a limited period. The forms record the requesting address with the message, to limit abuse.
3. How we use the information, and on what basis
| Use | Legal basis where one is required |
|---|---|
| To answer your message, request or application | Steps you asked for before entering a contract; our legitimate interest in responding to you |
| To provision a trial or an Early Adopter tenant you asked for, and to send you the agreement and the licence key | Performance of the Evaluation Agreement |
| To keep the website and the forms service secure and to limit abuse | Our legitimate interest in security |
| To comply with law, or to establish or defend a legal claim | Legal obligation; legitimate interest |
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
4. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that host the website, the forms service, the licence service and our email, under contracts that bind them to process it only on our instructions; with professional advisers where needed; with a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this notice; and where the law requires it. A message about a partner-sold deal may be shared with that partner at your request.
5. Retention
Messages, trial requests and applications are kept for as long as needed to answer them and, where they lead to an agreement, for the life of that agreement and the period the law requires afterwards; a request that leads nowhere is deleted within 24 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
6. Security
The website and the forms service are reached over HTTPS only. Submissions are stored in access-controlled systems available to the people who answer them. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw a consent you gave, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to the address in section 11 and we will answer within the time the applicable law allows, after confirming your identity. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a right.
California residents. The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers (name, email address, phone number, requesting address) and professional information (company, role, what you write about your systems), for the purposes in section 3. We do not sell or share personal information and have not done so in the preceding twelve months. You may ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and use an authorized agent to do so, by writing to the address in section 11.
8. International transfers
We are located in the United States and process information there. Where the law of your country requires a safeguard for a transfer to the United States, we rely on the safeguards that law provides, including standard contractual clauses with our service providers where applicable.
9. Children
The website is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this notice. The version and effective date at the top change when we do, and a material change is announced on this page before it takes effect.
